We dance in Chilton Village Hall.**
We dance weekly on Tuesday evenings (September – June, not in July or August) from 19:45 to 21:45. Our last dance evening for this ‘season’ will be Tuesday 21 June, dancing will restart on Tuesday 6 September.
We are also planning afternoon tea dances for Wednesdays 21 September, 19 October and 16 November. The last two of these in particular will be ‘anticipating’ (i.e. practicing!) the dances d=for the Abingdon & Harwell Ball on Saturday 3 December.
We have now resumed making tea and coffee during the break but ask you to please bring your own mug.
** The Village Hall postcode of OX11 0SH won’t get you quite there, it will place you on Church Hill to the south east of All Saints Church.
The Village Hall is to the south west of the church and is accessed from Church Hill by a lane that runs round the north side of the church.
We are a friendly club and we welcome all newcomers whether expert or novice
– and you don’t have to be a Scot!
Oh, and having a number of Scots in our ranks, we don’t charge a fortune for our meetings
– £2 for an evening plus an annual membership fee of just £10.
You don’t need to become a member, occasional visitors get their first meeting free and then we ask for £3 per evening
Please do contact the Secretary (see below) if you would like further details.
Otherwise, just bring along some soft shoes on a Tuesday evening.
